Stewarts Road had been let to an antiques restoration business for many years. This once industrial area of Battersea had however more recently seen a level of regeneration and change in profile since the former tenants first occupied.

When the tenants vacated in 2017 Ashville were instructed to deal with the outgoing dilapidations, property refurbishment and securing a new tenant for the building.

The building provided over 6,000 sq ft of space over 2 floors and Ashville saw an opportunity to really make the most of the building’s layout and appearance.

The warehouse use and feel were maintained throughout, providing desirable workspace with cleaned and exposed concrete floors along with exposed ceilings with new skylights fitted throughout, improving the natural light.

New quality W.C’s were fitted, an attractive roof terrace garden created as well as the elevations and windows benefitting from a refurbishment and improved aesthetic appearance. Other works included a new roof on part and removing some internal walls to create bright open plan work areas.

The marketing was managed by Ashville and new tenants secured prior to the refurbishment works completing with a new full repairing and insuring lease reflecting rental increase of over 60%.
