Works underway on former Ashville managed offices in Cheltenham

The construction of 65 retirement homes is now underway in Cheltenham, following Ashville’s disposal to Churchill Retirement last year.

Ashville acquired the site on behalf of investors whilst the former Pate Court office block occupied the site, however following a lack of occupier interest for the existing use and the introduction of changes in Permitted Development Rights, Ashville were successful in achieving consent for conversion to residential use. The site was subsequently sold for full redevelopment with the principle of residential use having been proved acceptable.
